Any Indian company registered under the Companies Act, 2013/1956 is eligible to apply.

The National Long Distance (NLD) license permits a company to provide long-distance carriage services of telecom traffic (voice, data, internet, text, video, etc) from one Licensed Service area (LSA) to another LSA

Once grant of frequency is agreed by WPC wing and decision letter is issued, SACFA application may be filed online with the approved technical parameters mentioned in decision letter.

Under this category siting clearance applications are received when the same or another applicant desires to put additional antenna on the tower below the earlier approved Antennae Siting Clearance. Application received under additional antenna category is accorded WPC acceptance no. after submission of application. Acceptance number itself is treated as Siting Clearance and no Siting Clearance letters etc. are required to be issued to the applicant.

Cases in specific frequency bands with limited power and located more than specific distance from airport are cleared immediately without NOC from SACFA members. As soon as the application is received, it is accorded WPC acceptance no. As per the new simplified procedure of Standing Advisory Committee on radio Frequency Allocation ( SACFA) , all antenna towers/masts located beyond 07 kms from the nearest airport and having up to 40 meters height, above the Above Mean Sea Level (AMSL) of the Airport Reference Point are cleared in automated processing system.

The Applicant companies desirous of getting the Access Service Authorization under Unified License/UL-VNO may submit the application on portal i.e. https://saralsanchar.gov.in. The Applicant companies are required to do a one-time registration on the portal.

The applicant must be an Indian Company, registered under the Companies Act, 2013. UL and UL(VNO) can be applied by any  Indian companies except for Access Service Cat B authorisation under UL(VNO) which can be applied for by Indian companies, partnership firm, proprietorship firm, Shops and establishment and legal person.

The products notified under MTCTE are communicated to Customs authorities. In addition, a copy of all the MTCTE Certificates are also uploaded to the customs portal for their reference.
