Authorisation | Mobile number portability provider authorisation
As per Schedule A of the Telecommunications (Authorisation for Telecommunication Networks) Rules, 2026, the applicable fees for Mobile number portability provider authorisation are-
(1) Every new authorised entity shall pay an annual authorisation fee for each authorisation, from the effective date of such authorisation, which shall be one per cent of the adjusted gross revenue subject to the amounts specified, as applicable.
(2) From the second year of the effective date of the authorisation and for each subsequent year, the authorisation fee shall be higher of—
(a) one per cent of the adjusted gross revenue, or
(b) thirty percent of the applicable entry fee as specified in Schedule A

Dear Applicant,
This is to inform that the acceptance of new applications under Indian Telegraph Act 1885 has been stopped for all kind of Unified Licenses, Unified Licenses (VNO), Standalone Licenses, Registrations, Permissions. Accordingly, the Saral Sanchar Portal and National Single Window System (NSWS) will not accept any new applications for the same.
All applicants who wish to i) obtain any of the above authorisations/ registrations under The Telecommunication Act, 2023, or; ii) migrate the existing licenses/ authorisation granted under Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 to the corresponding authorisations under The Telecommunication Act, 2023 may login to https://eservices.dot.gov.in/authorisation-portal from 25.06.2026 onwards.
All applicants intending to obtain Radio Equipment Possession Authorisation under the provisions of the Telecommunication Act, 2023 may apply online through the Authorisation Portal by logging in to https://eservices.dot.gov.in/authorisation-portal with effect from 06.08.2026.
